How Many Acupuncture Treatments
Every patient and severity of condition is different. For
example, patients with chronic issues may be treated initially weekly
for a few times with follow-up treatments as often as every month.
Less chronic conditions may be treated every two weeks for a month;
then tapered as needed for maintenance. Positive
responses may be observed after the first session, however it can
take up to four treatments to determine if a patient will be
receptive. Each session may take 10 to 60 minutes.
